I met my friend while she was living behind a Walmart, struggling to survive on the streets at 75 years old. She has no family or support system, and her health is fragile—she’s had a stroke, a heart attack, and she suffers from COPD. Every day is a challenge for her, and it broke my heart to see someone so vulnerable facing these hardships alone.

I started this fundraiser because she needs urgent help. The money raised will go toward getting her a safe place to stay, providing her with essentials like diapers, wipes, food, and blankets, and making sure she has a wheelchair to move around with dignity. No one should have to live outside, especially at her age and with her health issues.
