I'd like to introduce you to my good friend Lu. She's a sweet elderly member of my church; I love her like a mother. Due to technology illiteracy, Lu has been a victim of financial fraud and has been unhoused for the past 3 years.

After I had her at my home for 6 months and even dropped her at a shelter (where she was assaulted twice; it broke my heart!), her sister secured her a low-income 1-bed apartment. Today, I learned that she's 30 days away from eviction as she's late on rent. The complex's management, unfortunately, is not willing to accept a payment plan at this point. Lu is short $1250 from her current/total rent debt.

The coolness of this pitch: this is a one-time help and you'll see the result right away! I've already helped Lu open a bank account, organize her little income, and put guardrails in place (aka autopay) to ensure her rent is paid. I'll send updates through my social media so we can celebrate her progress together.
