Dear Friends and Community,

I am launching this fundraiser to help relocate a disabled transgender friend from Louisville to Chicago. Our friends Sylvia and Meryl have a vacancy in their apartment at the end of the month, but are unfortunately unable to cover the relocation costs alone. Given the current political climate and its impact on my friend's well-being, moving them to a safer environment is an urgent necessity.

We are aiming to raise funds for a move scheduled for the beginning of June. Your donations will directly fund:

-A U-Haul truck rental.

-Fuel and travel expenses for the drive from Louisville to Chicago.

-Their portion of the rent for June
