My name is Mahmoud Ghanem. I am 33 years old, married, and a father of four daughters. Today, my family and I are living in a small tent in Gaza after our home was completely destroyed by the war. I also lost my workplace, which was our only source of income.
Since the war began, our lives have changed completely. We now
live through extremely difficult days filled with fear, hunger, cold winters, and unbearable summer heat. Our tent cannot protect us from the harsh weather, and every day I try to stay strong for my daughters even though I feel helpless inside.
My wife suffers from severe malnutrition and diabetes. Because of the difficult conditions and the lack of proper food and medical care, her health continues to get worse day after day. One of my daughters has also developed bedwetting due to the fear and trauma she experienced during the war, bombings, and repeated displacement.
I was also injured in my leg during the war, which left me unable to work or provide for my family as I once did. We currently have no source of income, and even the simplest things that were once normal in our lives have become distant dreams: a warm meal, medicine, clothes for my daughters, or even a safe place to sleep.
I am writing these words with a small hope that our story may reach kind and compassionate hearts. We are not asking for luxury — we are only trying to survive with dignity and give our daughters a safer and more stable life away from fear, hunger, and illness.
Any support, no matter how small, can help us:
Provide medical treatment and medicine for my wife.
Secure food, clean water, and basic necessities for my daughters.
Find safer shelter for my family.
Help us rebuild our lives after losing everything.
Even if you cannot donate, sharing our story could help save an entire family.
Thank you to everyone who stands with us, supports us, or keeps us in their prayers.
