On Sunday evening March 22nd, a storm knocked down a large tree into my daughter's second story rental house of a two family. Luckily no one or any of the animals were hurt. Parts of the roof and ceilings fell into the rooms, along with the pouring rain. They lost a lot of their household items, furniture and clothes. They had no renters insurance and are homeless staying in a hotel right now. The children are 12 and 10 years old and this has really taken a toll on all. My daughter's landlord is giving them until April 15th to get out what is salvageable. They need short term housing now, and will need to replace items that they lost and will need help with permanent housing soon. They are looking for housing in Oakley, Fairfax or Madison Place or something close to where the children attend school in Oakley. Any help financially and prayers would be greatly appreciated.
