My daughter and I have recently faced one of the most difficult challenges of our lives. After being kicked out of the place we were living, we found ourselves with nowhere to go and had to move into a homeless shelter. This sudden change has been incredibly hard on both of us, especially as I try to keep her spirits up and make sure she feels safe and cared for during this uncertain time.
