On September 25th, my dad was followed from his home by an undercover officer, where he was then pulled over 2 minutes later. Pulled over without a valid reason . The officer asked if he had a valid driver's license. He responded yes and took it out. The officer said, “That doesn’t matter,” and asked my father to step out of the vehicle, immediately putting him in handcuffs. My father has permission to be here, a valid driver's license, social security, and a work permit. Yet, they still handcuffed him. He’s been in the US for 24.5 years. Our family is so heartbroken. He is the sweetest, happiest, most loving husband and father. My family’s lives changed in the blink of an eye. I ask for prayers and help during this hard time. Help us fight this injustice, we are in contact with a lawyer but wont be able to afford it all on our own. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
