Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out during an incredibly difficult time for my family. On April 3rd, my dad lost his home and his truck in a sudden fire. The damage was severe, and his unit has been declared unsafe—he is no longer able to live there and lost nearly all of his belongings.

My dad is 76 and will be turning 77 next week on April 16th. He also has mobility challenges, which makes this situation even more difficult, as he cannot easily rebuild or relocate on his own. Watching him go through this at this stage in life has been incredibly hard. We just want to make sure he’s safe, comfortable, and supported during this time. He is currently staying with family while we try to figure out next steps, but he is essentially starting over from scratch.

We’ve created this fundraiser to help cover immediate and essential needs, including:

Temporary housing and relocation expenses

Clothing, toiletries, and basic necessities

Replacing furniture and household items

Transportation needs after losing his vehicle

Food, medical, and day-to-day living expenses

We are doing everything we can to navigate insurance and other resources, but as many know, these processes can take time and don’t always cover everything. This support will help bridge that gap and provide him with some stability during this transition.
