Help My Dad Start Over After Deportation

My dad’s journey has been filled with uncertainty and heartbreak. After several appointments with ICE in 2025, our family lived in constant fear that he would be taken from us. Each meeting was nerve-racking, but we held onto hope every time he was able to come home. That hope ended on March 2nd, the day after his birthday, when he was detained and my mom never got to say a final goodbye. Since then, our family has been struggling to adjust to life without him, both emotionally and financially.

My dad has always been a law-abiding, hardworking man who puts his family first. He’s the kindest person you’ll ever meet, and everyone at his jobs knows how dedicated he is. When he’s not working, he loves to go fishing—it’s his favorite way to relax. Now, as he starts over in Laos, he will be staying with his sister, but needs help to improve his housing situation and cover his basic needs. Without his income, my mom is lost and we’re doing everything we can to support him from afar.

If you find it in your heart to donate or even share this fundraiser, we would be deeply grateful. Any amount helps my dad get back on his feet in Laos. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing our story. Your support means the world to us and will help my dad begin this difficult new chapter with hope.
