Some buffoon stole my dad Chris Beiderbecke’s white “BEE COOL” electric bike out front of Jewel-Osco (East Moline, Kennedy Square) on Friday, Aug 15th around 10am. My dad filed a police report, couldn’t obtain video footage due to angle, and his insurance claim was denied even though he had a lock on it.

***If you know my dad (or follow him on Facebook), you know how much he enjoys biking around the Quad Cities. He posts photos & stories about local landmarks, isolated trails & all sorts of places he discovers. Plus, it gets him out of the house which is good. Please consider donating with hopes we can get my dad a NEW BIKE to replace his stolen one!

The cost of the bike itself was $1,724 in 2023. However, my dad added extra custom parts & equipment which he tabulated into total loss of $2,150. Therefore, that’s my goal! ***Please help by donating and/or sharing this fundraiser — Thank You!

Respectfully,

James B.

Son of Chris Beiderbecke
