Yesterday, our lives changed in an instant. My dad's home was destroyed by a devastating house fire, leaving him with little to nothing. What was once a place filled with memories, comfort, and security is now gone. Thankfully, my dad made it out safely, and for that we are incredibly grateful. However, the fire took nearly everything he owned—his clothing, furniture, personal belongings, household necessities, and many irreplaceable items collected over a lifetime. As he begins the difficult journey of rebuilding, we are asking for help from family, friends, and anyone willing to lend a hand. Donations will go toward immediate needs such as clothing, food, temporary housing, essential household items, and helping him start over. This has been an overwhelming and heartbreaking experience, but we believe that with the support of our community, my dad can get back on his feet.
