Help My Dad Post Liver Transplant

Hi, My name is Tabi. This Father's Day is EXTRA special for me and my family. My Dad was diagnosed with Non-Alcoholic Cirrhosis of the Liver at the beginning of 2023. He required a liver transplant, and on May 21st, he was blessed with a liver from someone else's loss. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have my Dad blessed with more life! He is in recovery and doing well.

However, a lot of loss has occurred for him and my step mom starting December 2022. My Dad and Step-Mom, Cam, were live-in caregivers for my Step-Mom's father who had COPD. He passed away on my Step-Mom's birthday this past December 2022. Unfortunately this also meant they now had nowhere to live. They were given untilt he end of May to find a new place to live. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to find something because my Dad was frequently in the hospital due to his liver, and lost his job because of this which was their main source of income. They have been blessed to have a temporary place to live from a family member, but they need significant help to get back on their feet.

I have been able to help them get connected with resourcses that are available, but with cost of living constantly increasing, with my Dad waiting on getting approval from Social Security Disability (which will barely cover basic needs), and my Step-Mom now needing to be a 24/7 caregiver to my Dad during his recovery, things are difficulty.

I want to do something special and try to help them get back on their feet, pay for any outstanding medical bills and will occur and improve their overall quality of life for Father's Day. Any donation you can give helps. It will all directly to my Dad and Step-Mom to help them get back on their feet and be successful in my Dad's transplant recovery!
