Hi, I'm Talia.
My dad is dying of brain cancer. He is only 62, he's never been perfect but he's always tried his best, and is always "Preparing for Greatness".
He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2025, and had something called a Whipples Procedure to remove the problem, unfortunately while in hospital he got an infection from VRE, this is normally a death sentence but he fought it and won.
This meant that that he couldn't get chemotherapy however.
Now its September 2025, his cancer had metastasized, it got to his bones, and caused him to break his leg. But that didn't stop him.
We have now reached the point that his cancer is in his brain. This cancer is taking away the part of himself he was most proud of, so we have to fight it.
We are trying to raise funds to get some experimental treatment and to get onto some trials that are not funded by the NHS because he deserves our best. Because he always tried for us.
Not only will any money go to fund this anything extra will also go to help keep our home which he fought tooth and nail to get.
We can manage what comes at us, but we can't manage losing him.
It's always been us against the world, but I am now asking the world for help.
He would hate me doing this, a very proud man, but I would rather see him mad at me, than not see him at all.
Thank you so much,
Love Talia
