Help my dad and uncle who were detained by ICE

Donation protected
On Friday, June 27th, 2025 my father, Manuel, and his brother, Sergio were detained by ICE. They were working like any other day, at Downey Hand Car Wash & Detail Center where they have worked for over 15 years to contribute to their families.

Sergio and Manuel have been in the US for over 20 years and live with my other uncle in Los Angeles. The sudden loss of their love and support has left my mother, family, and I in a very difficult position. They were held at the Federal Building this week and my Tia Ana was able to visit them and talk to them for 5 minutes. They are trying to remain hopeful that they will be reunited with our family. When we tried to visit them again on 7/2/2025, we were told they had been moved to a detention center. We have been calling the ICE locator centers and checking online to try and locate them, but haven’t gotten any information on where they are.

We are desperate to hire a lawyer and see if they can help locate them and start the fight to reunite them with our families. We have spoken to separate lawyers who have estimated their fees to be more than $10,000 for both cases. We hope they are still in California so we can visit them and let them know they are not alone. Any financial assistance would help tremendously with various expenses such as legal fees, bills, and my own pursuit of a college degree which my father has been supporting.

We understand these are difficult financial times for many. Any help would be greatly appreciated, whether donating or sharing.
____________
