My name is Hiam Abdel Rahim Abu Jalhoum. I am 40 years old and I live in Gaza. My family of seven has survived five devastating wars in Gaza. But now we are facing genocide, and we hope to survive this time as well.

Our house was completely destroyed in one of the recent airstrikes, forcing us to flee to southern Gaza. There, Israeli forces arrested us and detained my family and me in the Netzarim area. We were detained for a long time and interrogated. Those were terrifying moments as we witnessed death approaching us. After a few hours, we were released, but the fear and terror still haunt us today.

We now live in a tent in northern Gaza, where we have only what we can see. We are 40 people living in one tent, without shelter, food, or clean water to ensure our survival. In these harsh conditions, the Egyptian government imposes exorbitant entry fees, up to $5,000 per person, a sum too high for us.

Our lives have turned into a nightmare. We dreamed of a better future, but now, without shelter, work, or hope, we live in constant chaos. Even the harsh winter cold has become a source of anxiety for us, as we live in an open tent without heating or protection from the harsh winter.

My family consists of my husband, Shadi, 43, my eldest daughter, Lana, 18, my daughter Amina, 16, my sons Ibrahim, 15, Youssef, 12, and Mohammed, 7. My husband was our source of income and the joy of our home, but after being injured in the war, he became unable to work, and now we are without any source of income.

In these difficult circumstances, we are appealing for your help. Life has become unbearable, and we are in dire need of your support. Your donations, no matter how small, make a real difference in our lives, helping us obtain food, shelter, and clean water. We also desperately need your help to provide warmth during this harsh winter, as well as to treat my husband, who suffers from injuries that affect his daily life.

اسمي هيام وانا معلمة ولدي 5 اطفال لانا 17 سنة وامينة 15 سنة وابراهيم 14سنة ويوسف 10 سنوات ومحمد 6 سنوات نزحت من شمال قطاع غزة إلى خانيونس قبل 7اكتوبر كنت انا وزوجي واطفالي في حياة سعيدة وعملٍ سعيد وبيت جميل وحارة جميلة ثم حدثت 7اكتوبر وتغير الحال وكل شي أصبح مدمر أصبح لا يوجد بيت ولا حياة ولا عمل واطفالي لديهم أحلامهم في إكمال مراحلهم التعليمية وحلمي انا أن يكون اولادي متعلمين وجاءت الحرب ودمرت احلامي واحلام اولادي و تم قصف بيتي بالكامل وفقدت ‎أقاربي وأحد اصدقائي ‎ساعدوني انا وعائلتي بالخروج من قطاع غزة حتى نعيش بأمان واحقق احلامي واحلام اولادي ومما تعانيه أيضا انا وعائلتي من تلوث المكان والمياه واكل المعلبات التي تسبب الأمراض والتسمم واسكن انا وعائلتي في خيمة التي لا تقي من البرد ولا الحر واعاني أيضاً ‎من نقل الماء سواء كانت للشرب أو الاحتياجات الأخرى عكس ما كنا عليه من قبل اتمنى مساعدتي في التبرع من أجل قضاء بعض الاحتياجات وإخلاء قطاع غزة التي لم تعد منطقة ٱمنة وغير قابلة للعيش فيها من دمار وقصف عنيف وغلاء المعيشة فيها
