Help my colleague and friend transition after job loss

Hi, family and friends, as many of you know, tens of thousands of my amazing colleagues have lost their jobs in the past few months. I know that everyone is struggling. Today, I am hoping to raise a little bit of money to support a special colleague from my team - a single mom to two amazing adopted little kiddos in Malawi - who also supports some of her extended family.

In Malawi, international development assistance was a massive piece of the economy, and people there are struggling more than most. I wish we could help everyone who is supporting a family without a job, but I also know that even a little bit of money here in the U.S. can go a very, very long way in Malawi.
