Help the children of war to be reunited with their father

I am Taghreed Abu Samra, mother of three children, Maryam 6 years old, Zeina 4 years old, and Rima 2 years old

I was practicing the law in the Gaza Strip, and my husband’s name is Youssef Abu Samra. He worked as an administrative official in an orphanage, and we lived together with my children in an apartment located on Al-Nasr Street, Gaza.

I was the only family remaining for my mother after my father died, and she had to move and live with me during the war, as her house in the Karama neighborhood was bombed.

On October 13, I, my family and my mother fled to Rafah to seek safety after the Israeli occupation threatened us and told us to evacuate to the south. We eventually sought refuge with my husband’s relatives, but on November 23, at 1:30 p.m., the house in which we were staying was completely bombed without warning, killing 14 people, martyrs from my husband’s family. I, my children, and my mother were severly injured. We suffered severe fractures and had to have stabilizing materials and platinum installed in our bodies. My husband, Youssef, was the one who took care of me, my mother, and my children throughout our stay in the European Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

After a period of our stay in the hospital, they were no longer able to treat us due to weak medical capabilities, and we were referred for treatment abroad. My husband was our companion, our caretaker he stood by me, my mother, and our children, as i was incapibilitated because of the injuries, I cannot take care of myself or my children, and I am in dire need of my husband, but he was refused permission to leave. My husband was able to get to the crossing towards egypt with us, but they didn’t took him out, only allowing me, my mom and my little girls to cross, so they brought him back to the Strip again.

My husband now is displaced in Khan Yunis in a very difficult and dire situation. He lost all the necessities of life, and he finds himself alone without me and his children. We are in dire need of him and we cannot get him out of the Gaza Strip.

I, Taghreed, have fractures in my pelvis, foot, and hand, major wounds to my face and foot, and burns throughout my body, I ask you to help me and my husband, Youssef, to be riunited again so that he can reach us and carry out his duties towards me and our children. They are very young and need their father and mother by their side. My health situation has not seen any improvement since the moment I left the Gaza Strip, and I have all the health papers and proofs. On the health condition of me and my children due to the war and the direct bombing of us.
