Hi, my name is Laura, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my brother, Amp Nousiharat, who is currently being detained by ICE and facing deportation to Laos, country he has never lived in.

Amp came to the United States with our family when he was just 6 months old. This is the only home he has ever known. He grew up here, went to school here, and built his life here in America.

Due to a mistake he made as a young adult, ICE is trying to send him away from everything he knows and everyone who loves him. He is not a threat to anyone. He is a son, a brother, an uncle, and a good man with a big heart.

Our family is devastated. We’re doing everything we can to fight this deportation, but we urgently need help. The funds raised will go toward:

Food while he’s in detention

Phone calls so he can stay in touch with his loved ones and not feel forgotten
