Hi, my name is Destyne’, and I’m raising funds on behalf of my auntie and her family who have just experienced a devastating loss — their home and all their belongings were destroyed in a fire.

A couple of months ago, their house was struck by lightning in the middle of the night while the family was asleep. They were awakened by a loud boom, like every socket in the house had exploded. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the damage left their home unlivable. They were told it could take 3–6 months to a year before they could return.

After months of patience and struggle, they finally received the green light to move back in. An electrician from the city completed the work, and an official inspector approved everything. The family was hopeful, ready to start fresh, and just beginning to get settled again.

Tragically, today, their home caught fire due to electrical issues — the entire house, along with everything they owned, was destroyed. Clothes, furniture, keepsakes, and even the smallest essentials were all lost in the fire. It’s unimaginable that they are now facing a second disaster after already enduring so much.

We are asking for any help you can offer to support them as they begin the painful process of starting over — again. Funds will go toward temporary housing, clothing, food, school supplies, furniture, and other basic necessities.
