Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
““Who will lend to Allah a good loan which Allah will multiply many times over? It is Allah ˹alone˺ who decreases and increases ˹wealth˺. And to Him you will ˹all˺ be returned.””
I am reaching out on behalf of my aunt, a mother of nine children who has faced unimaginable challenges in recent years. Her journey is one of difficulty, but she now desperately needs our help to find stability and a permanent place to call home.
Four years ago, my aunt suffered a stroke while giving birth to her ninth child, leaving her in a coma for over a month. Although she miraculously survived, the stroke left her unable to use her hand and leg, and she now relies on a wheelchair for mobility.
Her husband, despite being unemployed, dedicates himself to helping care for her and their children, doing everything he can to support the family amidst their challenges. Their eldest child, who is just 14 years old, also steps up to assist in taking care of the younger siblings.
When my aunt was discharged from the hospital after two months of recovery, kindhearted people came together to help her family build a corrugated metal 2 room house on a piece of borrowed land. Sadly, the owners of the land have now asked her to move out within 2 months, leaving her and her family with nowhere to go.
We are trying to raise £10,000 to purchase a small piece of land so that they can move their corrugated house to that new land that would give them security and a place of permanency and a place they can call home.
This modest yet secure house will provide my aunt and her children the stability they so desperately need.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a profound difference in their lives. If you cannot contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your network would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this critical time for my aunt and her family. Together, we can help her build a brighter and more secure future.
With gratitude.
