Whew! Where do I begin? This fundraiser is the most near and dear to my heart of anything I have ever asked for help for.

There are people in life who always show up for others, no matter what. My aunt and uncle are those people. They would both give the shirts off their own backs to help someone in need. Now, it’s my turn to give back. I’m reaching out to you today to ask for your help in supporting them during a time of immense need.

They have been together for 46 years, and their love has been tested through every hardship life could throw at them. From my uncle's time in the Navy to the tragic losses they’ve faced in their families, they’ve always stood strong together. But the last few years have been incredibly tough. My uncle’s health issues have made it impossible for him to keep his job, and my aunt is unable to work outside the home due to the round-the-clock care their youngest child needs. He has non-verbal autism and will never be able to take care of himself on his own. The stress of it all has weighed heavily on them, and they’ve done their best to keep going.

Now, they need our help to complete their dream of moving into a new home—a place where they can feel safe and start fresh. The house they’ve been working on needs some finishing touches—plumbing, flooring, drywall—and any skilled labor you can offer would make a huge difference. If you’re not able to volunteer your time, a financial contribution would help them get one step closer to making this home a reality. Every little bit helps, whether it’s a donation of your time or your resources.

For my cousin, who needs constant care, having a safe and secure home is essential for his well-being. It’s more than just walls and a roof—it’s the peace of mind that comes with knowing that their home is as safe and functional as possible. This is their chance to start over after so many years of sacrifice, and we have the opportunity to make that possible.
