Hi, my name is Kamal. I am fundraising for my friend Muhammad Sayam, a cab driver living in Kansas city with his wife and two kids; one 2-year-old daughter and a newborn baby boy (born yesterday January the 19th).

 

His rented house caught on fire today and destroyed everything in his place. He and his daughter were able to escape from the fire just in time to save themselves from the danger. All his belongings and the things he purchased for the new baby got destroyed.

 

Without any renters insurance and barely making his living with a hand-to-mouth lifestyle, he is literally on the streets. He has one more day for his wife and the newborn kid to stay in the hospital as they will be discharged tomorrow.

 

Currently, he is without food, clothes, water and shelter to survive the cold winter as he does not have any monetary means to support themselves.

 

So I am helping them with the fundraising to ease the recovery process from this challenging time and start again, leaving behind the painful memories.
