It’s not every day that we get a chance to help a dear friend. Yesterday, when talking with Ms. Vicki Johnson it hurt me to see her struggling with vehicle issues. To give you some scope, a few days ago her car was spewing radiator fluid which has led to a diagnosis of needing a new engine. She paid good money for an extended warranty from CarMax that covered her vehicle up to 125k miles.  Unfortunately that warranty expired because her vehicle now has 126k miles. If her engine would have went out 1,000 miles earlier she’d be in a good spot. She was in tears telling me her story because she had to cancel a trip for her and Les to see her son in Sacramento this week and she starts a new job next week too. Ms. Vicki Is known for her time helping the kids throughout the years at school, helping people with their animals while they’re out of town, bringing smiles to customers faces at Estrellas or sharing some of her wonderful food and desert creations. It would mean the world to her if we all try to do something small to help her bounce back and put that precious smile back on her face. She’s ready to see her son, get to work and back to spoiling all of us with her special love. She is truly one of the best and I’m lucky to have her in my family’s life.
