Ms. Marie is a 74-year-old woman who recently found her way to our church after experiencing the warmth and kindness of our community. She is not from this area, and with her family estranged, she has been left to face the challenges of homelessness and disability on her own. Despite these hardships, Ms. Marie’s faith and resilience have inspired everyone who has met her. She dreams of a chance to start fresh, with stability and a sense of belonging in a caring community.
Her journey has not been easy. Without a stable place to live or family to turn to, Ms. Marie has struggled to meet her most basic needs. She has been staying at an extended stay hotel, but her resources are running out. Each day brings new uncertainty about where she will sleep or how she will manage her health and daily needs. Our church has come together to offer support, but we know that with the help of a caring community, we can do even more.
We are raising funds to help Ms. Marie secure another week at her hotel, provide nourishing food, and cover accommodations that will assist with her disabilities. Your support will show her that she is not alone and that there are people who care deeply about her well-being. Please join us in helping Ms. Marie on her journey to recovery and stability. Your kindness can help her see that there are others who Love God and Love people, and that hope is still very much alive.
