Help Mr. Rene Support His Family

Story

Hi community, On Sunday, June 22, I met a street vendor in the Rowland/Hacienda Height area selling peanuts, oranges, and floral bouquets. I reached out to our good friend, La Pawnaderia, if we’re able to sponsor and buyout this older gentleman. And she happily accepted. Upon conversation, this soul told us about his family and what he is paid to sell. He is paid $1 per peanut bag, $2 per orange bag, and $3-$5 per floral arrangement (depending on the size) and is out there all day and sells what he can. Additionally, he had heart surgery,a tumor that continuous to metastasis, and a disabled wife who depends on him. The fact that he is out there trying to provide for his family and working under fearful conditions speaks highly of his character. He needs the community now more than ever. If you can, please help donate so we can send Mr. Rene home to his wife so he can spend days being at her aid, assuring she is getting the help she needs. It’s times like this where we need union and compassion from one another. All proceeds will go directly to Mr. Rene and his family. If you’re not able to donate, please help share. Thank you all so much, take care of each other and be safe. Priscilla Fresh Paws Mobile SpaCommunity buying out a street vendor

Hi community,

On Sunday, June 22, I met a street vendor in the Rowland/Hacienda Height area selling peanuts, oranges, and floral bouquets.

I reached out to our good friend, La Pawnaderia, if we’re able to sponsor and buyout this older gentleman. And she happily accepted.
