This is a fundraiser for Mr. J.C. McMichael Jr. Many of you around town know him, or know of him by seeing him walking around every day.

This fundraiser is to get him a decent camper to live in and a generator, as well as a cell phone. He currently lives in an old, completely rotted out camper with no water or electricity, and the walls are broken and falling away. The camper is dangerous and could collapse at any moment. He doesn't have a phone to reach any family or get anything done or get any help for himself.

He is going to turn 65 years old in March. He is the sweetest old man.

Somebody dumped a pregnant dog up on his property, and up until Christmas, he has been spending what little money he had on feeding the dogs instead of himself. The dogs have all since been removed and placed into foster homes, and all that remains is his one personal dog he had prior to all of that.

I have been helping him as much as I can with food, dog food, water, blankets, etc., but I don't make much money myself and I'm unable to help financially any longer.

This old man deserves a safe, warm place to sleep. Please give what you can and if you can't give, please share.
