Help Mr. Hernandez!

As the Director of the Kidsborough program at Dunning Elementary School, Kelvin Hernandez devotes his life to promoting the well-being of the children of Framingham.  His devotion is not contained to his work hours. Often on weeknights or weekends, he will travel to his students' extra curricular events and activities (sports, fundraisers, art shows, etc.) to show his encouragement.  During this time of uncertainty, he arranged for Zoom calls and drive-by parades to build morale of the Kidsborough students. He is the the role model that we all dream of being.

Now, Mr. Hernandez needs our help. This past week, he was furloughed and Melissa (Mrs. Hernandez) learned that she was laid off. Both events resulting from the economic effects of the Coronavirus. This is especially scary since they recently purchased a home to raise their expectant family. Melissa is pregnant with their first child which is due in the fall.  Despite this situation, Kelvin still found it in his heart to let Dunning parents know he will still do whatever is needed to support our children.

This is our chance to show our appreciation to Kelvin for all that he has brought, and continues to bring, to the Dunning community.  Please join us in assisting Kelvin and Melissa during this time of hardship.
