Hello, my name is Katie Stamp, and I’m organizing this fundraiser to support two extraordinary women in our community, Mily and Lola, after their beloved business, Mr. Burro Café, was tragically destroyed by a fire early this morning.

If you know Mily, you know her mantra: “little by little.” Those words have carried her through challenges before, and they will carry her and Lola through this one. But today has been heartbreaking. They stood and watched their dream, a dream they built with long hours, endless love, and unwavering pride, burn to the ground.

Even though they rented the building, they poured so much of themselves into it. They invested their time, money, talent, and heart to make it one of the best, most loved restaurants in town. Their warmth, hard work, and incredible food created a place where people gathered, celebrated, and felt at home.

While the loss is devastating, Mily and Lola are resilient. Their spirit hasn’t dimmed. And our community has already begun to show that they aren’t facing this alone. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has already reached out to show their support. Your kindness means more than you know.

This GoFundMe will help Mily and Lola begin rebuilding Mr. Burro Cafe, little by little. Donations will go toward:

• Replacing equipment, supplies, and inventory

• Supporting them with basic needs during this transition

• Securing a new space when the time comes

• Helping rebuild the foundation of what made their restaurant so special
