My mother (and until recently, my father) cares for my chronically ill sister full time in a rented property at Bribie Island in Queensland, Australia. Last week, my father passed away suddenly and we are now in a precarious situation, with two adults on the pension who are unable to afford to continue to pay rent in their current home after the next fortnight. Funerals are expensive and as a family, we are struggling to cover all expenses needed to now move my family to another home. This fundraiser has been set up to pay for a moving truck, bond and any extra expenses that will no doubt be encountered over the next couple of weeks. Any donation you can give would be an absolute godsend for my heartbroken mum and sister and would help them to move into a new home.
