Help Mother's Recovery from Cancer Surgery

Hi Everyone,

I am here to raise money for my mother's medical bills. On June 10, 2024, my mother was told she had a cancerous tumor on her left kidney. As the month continued to go on, her doctors were not moving aggressively on her case. I finally got my mother into Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Within 3 weeks, she had her consultation with her Oncologist, consultation with surgeon, surgery scheduled, and pre-op testing scheduled.

She has been diagnosed with retroperitoneal liposarcoma which had started in the fatty tissue of her abdomen. She went in for major surgery and did well with recovery. A few days later she went septic and was admitted to ICU and had emergency surgery to repair the tear along with cleaning out the infection. She has started to make a very slow recovery in the right direction.

The road to recovery is going to be a long process and she is going to be in ICU for a while. Any donations anyone can make are greatly appreciated by myself, father and of course my mother as the bills are starting to come in and pile up. mom is still in ICU and is slowly recovering in the right direction. She is intubated and has been since being in ICU but they are decreasing the ventilator little by little each day to see how she does on her own. During the day she is off sedatives but is on anti anxiety meds and pain medication. So she is sleeping but reacts to us talking to her. We greatly appreciate everything everyone has done and continues to do for us at this time. ❤️
