My sister gave everything to follow Jesus, and now she is coming home. Monica Waters entered the religious life six years ago, but just before final vows she suffered a head injury that is causing ongoing pain. Needing treatment and recovery, she has returned home from halfway across the country--with no wordly possessions to her name. She has no clothes, no car, and no job. Her cross is heavy but her spiritual strength is inspiring. She still smiles and laughs even after losing so much. Monica will need lots of ongoing support to rebuild her life. For her, everything has changed in a moment and the community who was going to walk through life with her has withdrawn their support. But, she still has Jesus, and she still has us.
