Help Monica Aid Afghan Family's Urgent Needs

I'm Monica Geckle and some coworkers and myself are trying to help a needy family who are in a desperate situation. They immigrated here from Afghanistan and live in a small apartment with no furniture or household essentials. Their family includes a mother, father and 5 small children. They live and sleep on a small rug in the middle of their living room as they do not have beds or bedding. They also have been unable to cook meals due to not having cooking supplies. We have been able to procure donated furniture and living essentials/kitchen supplies but need to rent a uhaul to transport these items to them, as they live in Alexandra Virginia. The cost of renting the truck and mileage is what we need to raise funds for. Please help if you can to help this family. Many of us have been in situations in life where we've needed help and others have generously helped us. We're trying to give back to pay it forward. Anything would be appreciated!
