Hi there! My name is Adorian, currently I am volunteering at a Buddhist monastery in a rural area of south Nepal. I came here to teach English to the children who live here. Most of the children are orphans, some of them have only single parents, and with no financial support whatsoever from their family.

 

 

When I came here I was shocked to see the conditions they are living in. They have no matrass, pillow or blanket and bedsheets. This monastery has no sponsors for the children. Most of the donations from the community are used to buy vegetables and rice for cooking food. In December winter is coming and temperatures will decrease as low as 5-10 degrees Celsius. With no heating, no insulation and no proper windows and doors the children have to sleep in harsh conditions, being cold all the time.

The monastery

The monastery is providing the children with education to become monks and nuns when they reach adulthood. It also provides them shelter, food, and one set of clothes.

They also get general education every day at the public school. 

The children

To be honest, they are the most kind hearted children I ever met. They know how to appreciate small things and have a lot of respect for everyone. They were born in remote areas all around Nepal, many of the places with no roads or electricity. Most of them came to the monestary before the age of 5, because of personal or financial problems mentioned above. Without the monastery they would have no place to go. 

 

I would like to raise funds for the children in order to buy the basic necessities such as:

 

In total this means 205.000 NPR or 1500 EUR.

 

The rest of the money we will use for school supplies like backpack, notebooks, pencils, erasers, and shoes.

The children only have the flipflops in which they need to walk around 3 to 4 hours a day to school and back in the jungle.

 

 

 

Total 126.500 NPR or 930 euro.

 

The donations would literally change the life of the children. They never had a matrass to sleep on or proper shoes to go to school with. They also never get presents from anyone.

 

We are doing this fundraiser without the knowledge of the children, so with your help we can make a huge surprise to them.

 

 

 

At the moment 25 children are living at the monastery between the age of 10-17.

Bună!  Numele meu este Adorian, în prezent sunt voluntar la o mănăstire budistă într-o zonă rurală din sudul Nepalului.  Am venit aici pentru a preda engleza copiilor care locuiesc aici.  Majoritatea copiilor sunt orfani, unii dintre ei au doar un singur părinte și nu au niciun sprijin financiar din partea familiei lor.

Când am venit aici, am fost șocat să văd condițiile în care ei trăiesc. Nu au saltea, pernă, pătură sau lenjerie de pat. Această mănăstire nu are sponsori pentru copii. Majoritatea donațiilor din partea comunității sunt folosite pentru a cumpăra legume și orez pentru gătit. În decembrie vine iarna și temperaturile vor scădea până la 5-10 grade Celsius. Fără încălzire, fără izolație și fără ferestre sau uși adecvate, copiii trebuie să doarmă în condiții grele și frig. 

Mănăstirea

Mănăstirea oferă copiilor educație pentru a deveni călugări și călugărițe când ajung la maturitate. De asemenea, le oferă adăpost, mâncare și un set de haine.

Ei primesc și educație generală în fiecare zi la școala publică.

Copiii

Sincer să fiu, sunt cei mai buni copii pe care i-am întâlnit vreodată. Ei știu să aprecieze lucrurile mărunte și au mult respect pentru toată lumea. S-au născut în zone îndepărtate din jurul Nepalului, multe dintre acestea fără drumuri sau electricitate. Majoritatea au venit la mănăstire înaintea vârstei de 5 ani, din cauza problemelor personale sau financiare menționate mai sus. Fără această mănăstire nu ar avea unde să meargă.

Restul banilor îi vom folosi pentru rechizite școlare, cum ar fi rucsac, caiete, creioane, radiere și pantofi.

Copiii au doar șlapi în care trebuie să meargă în jur de 3 - 4 ore pe zi până la școală și înapoi în junglă.

Donațiile ar schimba literalmente viața copiilor. Nu au avut niciodată o saltea pe care să doarmă sau încălțăminte potrivită cu care să meargă la școală. De asemenea, nu primesc niciodată cadouri de la nimeni.

Facem această strângere de fonduri fără știrea copiilor, așa că cu ajutorul dumneavoastră le putem face o surpriză uriașă.

În prezent, la mănăstire locuiesc 25 de copii cu vârsta cuprinsă între 10-17 ani.

Sziasztok! A nevem Adorián és jelenleg egy nepáli buddhista kolostorban önkénteskedem. Azért jöttem ide hogy angolt tanítsak a kolostorban élő gyerekeknek, akiknek nagy része árva, vagy egyedüli szüleje él, de a financiális helyzetük nem megfelelő arra hogy a gyerekeket fel tudják nevelni. 

Amikor ide érkeztem megrázó élményt nyújtott látni a körülményeket amiben ezek a gyerekek nevelkednek. Nincsenek matracaik, párnáik, takaróik vagy ágyneműjük. A kolostornak nincsen semmilyen állandó pénzügyi támogatása, az adományokat amiket kapnak a közösségtől pedig étek vásárlásra használnak. A tél megérkeztével, decemberben lehül a hőmérséklet 5-10 °C alá. Nincsen fűtés, szigetelés, de még az ajtók és ablakok sem zárnak rendesen. Ezek a gyereket az egész telet vacogva töltik. 

A kolostor

A kolostor oktatást biztosít a gyerekeknek, akik felnőtt korukra szerzetesek és apácák lesznek. Mindemelett szálláőssal, étellel és egy szett ruhával is ellátja őket. 

A gyerekek

Őszintén szólva, ők a legmelegszívűbb teremtmények akikkel valaha találkoztam. Nagyon tisztelet tudóak mindenki irányába, és ami a legnagyobb erényük az a hála, amit mutatnak minden apró dologgal kapcsolatban. Mindnyájan Nepál távoli helyein születtek, ahol nincsen áram, utak vagy infrastruktúra. Nagyrészük öt éves koruk előtt érkezett a kolostorba, a fennebb elmlített személyes vagy pénzügyi okok miatt. A kolostor nélkül, ezeknek a gyerekeknek nem lenne sehova ahova menniük. 

Szeretnék adományokat gyűjteni, hogy alapvető ellátáshoz szükséges dolgokat tudjak vásárolni a gyerekeknek:

• Ágynemű 25x1200 NPR
• Takaróhuzat 25x1500 NPR

Ez összesen 205.000 NPR vagyis 1500 eurót jelent.

A pénz többi részét tanszerekre szeretném költeni mint például hátizsákok, füzetek, golyóstollak és ceruzák, radír valamint cipők.

A gyerekeknek csak papucsaik vannak amiben minden nap 3-4 órát sétálnak az iskoláig és vissza az erdőn keresztül.

Az adományok egyszerűen megváltoztatnák a gyerekek életét. Sosem volt részük abban hogy matracon hajthassák álomra a fejüket, vagy rendes cipőket hordjanak. Sajnos ezeke a gyerekek ajándékot sem kaptak soha senkitől. 

Az adománygyüjtésről a gyerekek nem tudnak, úgyhogy mindennek a megvalósuása hatalmas örömöt okozna nekik. És nekem is.

Jelenleg 25 gyerek él a kolostorban, mind 10 és 17 év közöttiek.

Bármekkora összeg hatalmas segítséget nyújt ezeknek a gyerekeknek, úgyhogy ha lehetőséhgetek van, kérlek szépen járuljatok hozzá ennek eléréséhez.
