I’m writing to ask for a little help for someone who seriously deserves it—my friend Mona.

She’s in the middle of a big move with her three kids, her elderly mom, and their pets, all while working full time. She’s finally escaping an overpriced rental that’s been full of mold (it’s been long overdue) and moving into a safe, stable home where her family can finally land and breathe easier.

But right now, she’s doing most of this move on her own—with just one kind neighbor helping out. She got a quote from professional movers that’s just too much on top of all the other moving expenses piling up.

An active water leak was just discovered in the new house! Unbelievable! But moving forward with repairs.
