I am Mona, a little girl from Gaza, but the war made me grow up and bear pain before I truly grew up. Despite my young age, my heart carries a heavy pain that only God can bear. My life is very hard — I lost my home because of the bombing and destruction. My father is sick, and my mother is also ill, and I try to be strong for them.

Gaza, my beloved city, has become a place without safety. Every day we hear explosions and see smoke covering the sky. Hunger is our constant companion, water is scarce, and there is no electricity. We sleep by candlelight. Many children like me suffer, and our dreams break with each new day.

The situation has become harder than we could imagine… After the displacement announcements from the North, everything changed. Transportation alone costs us around $1,000, and the prices of tents keep rising—each tent now costs about $1,000, and renting land ranges between $1,500 and $2,000 per month.

Food has become a daily struggle; we try to provide basic meals for the family, and every day it gets harder to secure even the simplest necessities. My father needs essential and continuous medication, and his life depends on your support.

We have no other source of income; everything relies on your donations. Every contribution, no matter how small, gives us a chance to survive, to keep our hope alive, and to protect our family from poverty, hunger, and danger.
