Hi,my name is China and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my grandmother who I call “MOMO” Earlier today, something devastating happened that has shaken the whole family.While shopping at Walmart, Momo was robbed by someone knew-a young man who grew up around her and who she once showed kindness to. He approached her pretending to give her a loving hug.Momo said he SQUEEZED her so tight she couldn’t move,and while she was distracted and embraced,his girlfriend snatched her purse and ran.As soon as he let her go, Momo began screaming for help,shouting, He has my purse!He has my purse! But by then,it was too late. What makes this even more heartbreaking is that Momo had just borrowed $1,800 earlier that day money she desperately needed. Now it’s gone. She’s left with nothing, and still has to pay that loan back. She is devastated -emotionally,physically and financially. And as her granddaughter,I’m hurting watching her go through this. Momo is one of the most generous and loving people I know and I love my Momo. I’m starting this GoFund Me to try and do something to make this right.
