Today I got an offer to buy a 3-bedroom home right here in Edaco Village.

I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and joy. My children and I may finally have the chance to stay in the place we’ve always called home. Not just rent — OWN. A forever home. Stability. Safety. My own bedroom. A future.

But here’s the part I’m terrified of: I need to come up with a $20,000 down payment… fast.

I’m prepared to sell everything I own — but realistically, that might only get me halfway there.

So I’m turning to you — my friends, my community, anyone who’s followed this journey — for ideas, help, prayers, shares, anything. I’ve come this far. I’ve fought this hard. I will find a way to make this happen.

Because my children deserve this.

Because I deserve a room to heal in.

Because I finally have a chance — and I can’t let it slip away.

I know I was loud — maybe too loud. But all I ever wanted was to be heard. And now I have been. Now, I just need help to make this real.

I’m exhausted, I’m emotional, but I’m full of hope.
