As many of you may have heard, a tragic event occurred on January 25th in Chicago Ridge, when Mohammed Khattab and his family’s apartment complex caught on fire.

Alhemdillah everyone made it out and there were no injuries. Unfortunately, everything in their home was destroyed, leaving them with none of their belongings.

Mohammed and his family, who are expecting a new baby and already have two children, a 13 year old and a 15 month old, are facing challenges in this difficult time.

Sadly, they did not have renters insurance to help recover their belongings.

Although they have lost everything, as friends of the family, we are working to support them in rebuilding their lives, covering general living costs to move into a new home.

We are deeply grateful for any donation that can help them during these times.
