Reuniting with Birth Mother Miracle

Guess who we found? Our names are Miya and Sophia Laney, identical twins, and we are reuniting with our birth mother Lucita this November 2024, in Cebu, Philippines. When we were a few months old, our birth mother surrendered us to the Children’s Shelter of Cebu, due to health and financial complications, but out of a spirit of love. At 21 months old, we were adopted into our forever family and moved to the United States.

We are 18 now and will be going back to the Philippines with our adopted parents, Jason and Tania Laney this Thanksgiving to reunite with her! She gave us the chance for a better life, and in return we want to give back our gratitude.
