Hi my name is Jimena Resto and I am organizing a fundraiser. Today March 16, 2026, our family, my mother-in-law Mirna and those living with her experienced a devastating house fire that took everything from them. In a matter of hours, they lost their home and all of their belongings. The shock and heartbreak are overwhelming, and they are now facing the difficult reality of starting over from nothing. They are grateful to be safe, but the road ahead feels daunting as they try to figure out next steps.

Right now, our most urgent needs are helping them all with temporary housing and replacing essential items like clothing, everyday necessities, and medications. We are doing our best to stay strong for each other, but it’s hard to know where to turn after such a sudden loss. Your support would help us secure a safe place for them to stay and provide for basic needs as they begin to rebuild their lives.
