Hi, my name is Amy. I live in Minnesota, and I’m starting this GoFundMe because people in my own community are hurting—right now.
These aren’t headlines. They’re our neighbors.
They’re parents who have lived here legally for years and are suddenly afraid to drive to work. They’re families who pay taxes, work two jobs, keep their heads down, and quietly do the jobs that keep our communities running. And right now, many of them are living in fear—fear so real that some are afraid to leave their homes at all.
Kids are missing school events. Parents are skipping grocery runs. Families are rationing food because leaving the house feels unsafe.
This fundraiser is about meeting that fear with something stronger: love, care, presence, and immediate help.
The money raised will go directly toward food, household supplies, and basic necessities for children and families who are sheltering in place out of fear. No red tape. No delays. Just help, right when it’s needed.
This is deeply local and personal. My sister, friends, daughter, and nieces are the ones doing the shopping and hand-delivering supplies. We’re showing up quietly, respectfully, and directly—neighbor to neighbor—so families don’t feel forgotten or alone.
This is a grassroots effort built on trust and human connection. There are no organizations in the middle, no overhead fees, and no politics driving this—just people helping people in a moment of real need.
Every single dollar matters. Every contribution becomes food on a table, relief for a parent, and a reminder to a scared child that their community sees them and cares.
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for choosing humanity
