When a child steps onto the soccer field, they aren’t just chasing a ball — they’re finding stability, friendship, confidence, and hope. For many families in northeast Twin Cities, North East United Soccer Club is more than a team: it’s a community lifeline. Recent immigration enforcement activity has left several families suddenly facing financial hardship, fear, and disruption. Now some of our players are at risk of losing the one place that helps them feel normal.
Due to the current situation, our club has exhausted our scholarship funds that we allocate to families every year. We are raising money for emergency scholarships to keep these kids on the roster, paying for registration and practice. Your gift will ensure that displacement or sudden economic strain doesn’t take away practices that build resilience, tournaments that spark joy, or teammates who become family.
Why this matters
- Stability: For kids experiencing upheaval at home, consistent practices and games provide routine and emotional safety.

How funds will be used:
