HELP MINCK FAMILY RECOVER FROM HOUSE FIRE
Donation protected
This is a personal appeal for help on behalf of my niece Megan Minck and her three young children—ages two, four, and six--two of whom are severely autistic and require special care.
There was a horrific fire in their Lake Havasu apartment on Saturday, October 24. Megan and the children, thankfully, are safe, but they lost nearly everything they own. They need all the basic supplies you can imagine, including shelter. They’re currently staying at a Lake Havasu motel, but will need to move on soon.
Friends and family are stepping in to help Megan, but Lake Havasu social service agencies are overrun at the moment with requests for assistance. Megan hopes to build up enough resources to help her children on a day-to-day basis while also trying to rent a new apartment, meaning she will need a significant deposit and the ability to pay initial rent.
Megan is a wonderful young woman whose hands were already full before this tragedy unfolded. Every dollar raised will go to her and help get the family back on their feet. Thank you in advance for any donation, large or small, that you can offer.
