Help Milly & Joilton to refurnish their home

Over the Christmas 2021 holidays, heavy flooding have affected nearly 40 cities throughout the state of Bahia, Brazil, leaving almost 300 injured and at least 18 dead people (as of 27th December). More than 35,000 people have been forced from their homes, including my friend Janemilly (Milly) Cerqueira, her husband Joilton, her sons Raphael, John and the one week old Anthony. They lost their refrigerator, stove, sofa, bed, wardrobe and all groceries and thankfully have found shelter at their parents house. Milly is one of my longest friends and the daughter of my uncles maid, who brought me up like her own daughter. Today, I see it as my duty to give back all the love I received throughout entire life.

 

I am aware, this year has been difficult for every one of us and we all have been asked to provide monetary support to one or the other foundation. However, I invite you to help Milly together with me to rebuild a home for her three sons and giving back a roof for them.

 

Any amount will make a huge difference in their lives and I kindly ask you to spread the word on this matter.
