Help Mliki After Jean Newberry's Tragic Loss

Our central Vermont community is devastated and grieving the loss of our beloved Jean Newberry, mother, early childhood educator, parent educator, neighbor, and friend. Jean has been a beloved caregiver to many Vermont families privately offering nanny care, as a parent educator at Good Beginnings of Central Vermont, and as a beloved staff member of the Orchard Valley Waldorf School's Sweet Clover Nursery from 2016-2021. Some of us first met Jean with her infant son in her arms working at the Tulsi Tea Room in Montpelier. The only thing more radiant than her smile is perhaps is the shining spirit of her son Mliki.

Jean was reported missing on July 5th and was found deceased on a local trail two days later.
