Mildred needs our help. After over 50 years of serving her family and community between Pasadena and Downtown Los Angeles, she now needs the support of that same community. Always the giver, never the taker, I have created this campaign because at 85 years old, Mildred is now facing eviction from her home of 15 years, being behind on rent for 3 months. Due to her overextending generosity for others in her family and community, she has been left with next to nothing to take care of her own needs. In a world that seems increasingly out of our control, I graciously ask that we come together and lift up Ms. Mildred and show that we can still create spaces of community support right here in our own lives.
