Help Mike Continue To Give Back with Flight

Mike Harwood has been an inspiration to many many in Stanly County with his love and passion in Aviation.  Mike was very involved with the Angel Flight network and donated his time to help families of sick and less fortunate children by using aviation to transport those in need. Many just could not afford or take the risk being exposed to others or take the risk to travel on the airlines. Mike was always there to step up.  Mike also Volunteers his time at the local hospital to help others and the Hospital staff.

I have personally witnessed his passion for people, his passion to give back, and his love to use aviation to help others.

Several years ago Mike experienced a heart attack and it took away his opportunity to use his gift of flight. Mike fought hard to have the FAA re-endorse his license and he was successful. Mike is flying again and I know if we could help endorse his dream of giving back he would use this campaign to do exactly that.

Mike is the last team founder in a flying club at the Stanly County Airport formed in 1987-1988. This Club has allowed many to earn the dream of flying and Mike has always been there to support, mentor, and keep the club financially healthy along way.

Help us give back to Mike Harwood in the way he has given back to our community. Our Goal is to raise $1500.00 dollars toward a credit in flight time/fuel for the airplane he will use to continue giving back.
