Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Over the Fourth of July weekend, severe flooding devastated our community, leaving many families facing unimaginable loss. One family especially close to our hearts is now in urgent need of our support.

Many of you know Miguel and his three children. Sadly, their lives were turned upside down by this disaster. By the grace of God, Miguel was able to escape through a window and swim to safety, while his children were thankfully in Mexico at the time. However, their home was almost entirely underwater at one point.

The damage is heartbreaking. Their house, vehicles, clothing, and all personal belongings have been lost. Now, they’re left to start from scratch and could really use a helping hand.

We’re reaching out to our community, friends, neighbors, and all who know this kindhearted family to come together in support. Any donation, large or small, will make a meaningful difference as they work to rebuild their lives.

At Miguel's request, all funds will be sent to Michelle Vences-Ramirez, Miguel's partner, who will transfer the funds to Miguel outside of GoFundMe.

Durante el fin de semana del 4 de julio, fuertes inundaciones devastaron nuestra comunidad, dejando a muchas familias enfrentando pérdidas inimaginables. Una familia muy cercana a nuestros corazones hoy necesita de nuestro apoyo.

Muchos de ustedes conocen a Miguel y a sus tres hijos. Lamentablemente, sus vidas dieron un giro inesperado por este desastre. Gracias a Dios, Miguel logró salir por una ventana y nadar hacia un lugar seguro, mientras que, por bendición, sus hijos se encontraban en México en ese momento. Sin embargo, su hogar quedó casi completamente bajo el agua; en un punto.

Los daños son desgarradores. Perdieron su casa, sus vehículos, su ropa y todas sus pertenencias personales. Ahora, se enfrentan a tener que empezar de nuevo y realmente necesitan de nuestra ayuda.

Hoy hacemos un llamado a nuestra comunidad mi amigos, vecinos y todos quienes conocen a esta hermosa familia para que nos unamos y les brindemos apoyo. Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, marcará una gran diferencia mientras trabajan para reconstruir sus vidas.

A petición de Miguel, todos los fondos serán enviados a Michelle Vences Ramirez, la pareja de Miguel, quien se encargará de transferirle los fondos a Miguel fuera de GoFundMe.
