Help Mid Michigan LGBTQ+ folx

The Silver Lining Advocacy Center was founded as a response to the disparities faced by LGBTQ+ individuals in Mid-Michigan. Skyler Blankenship, founder of Silver Lining Advocacy Center, has been a resident of Mid-Michigan since 2012 as a Student at Central Michigan University. Being active in the LGBTQ+ community they have noticed disparities in housing stability, accessible and affordable health care, comprehensive mental health services, and safe spaces for the community to reside. Taking their advocacy they set out to create an all-inclusive system to address the lack of safe spaces in Mid Michigan as well as assist in addressing homelessness within the community and resources and referral center to connect LGBTQ+ individuals with accessible and affordable services.
