Hello, my name is Michelle Swingle. I am a stage 4 cancer survivor, and I recently separated from my husband after he found someone else. I took everything I could and moved out, hoping to start fresh. For a while, I was able to stay with friends, but due to circumstances beyond our control, I had to move into a motel.

I have an apartment lined up and am working on my HUD voucher, so there is hope on the horizon. I also have some money saved, but it’s going to go quickly since I have to pay for the motel while I wait for my apartment to become available. The funds raised here will help me stay off the street and cover motel expenses until I can move into my new place.
